ABOUT
Born in France, Alexandra grew up near Fontainebleau where she was immersed in an equestrian environment, which inspired her to draw horses from an early age. Surrounded by the artistic legacy of the Barbizon painters and the watercolorists of Grez-sur-Loing, these creative influences left a lasting impression on her artistic journey.
She had the privilege of studying for several years under the guidance of master pastelist Marie-Joëlle Cédat, who introduced her to the art of soft pastels.
As a young adult, Alexandra pursued her interest in storytelling and visual arts by enrolling in a 3D filmmaking school, where she honed her craft in narrative creation and the art of stunning imagery.
After completing her studies, Alexandra moved to Canada, a country she is still discovering and now calls home for over 15 years.
She established a successful career in visual effects, collaborating with major studios such as Disney and Paramount. However, in her spare time, she reconnected with her love for pastel art by joining the PSEC association, which reignited her passion for this medium.
This revival led her to participate in her first exhibition in Trois-Rivières, an experience that solidified her commitment to her artistic practice. Since then, she has explored a wide range of subjects and techniques, occasionally venturing into the realm of fantasy art.
In 2024, Alexandra became a member of the Rose-Art association, continuing her artistic journey with a focus on learning, experimentation, and discovery.
